This Friday we will have the defense of our master student Viviana Lorena Bohórquez Zapata. Due to the pandemic and security guidelines, the defense will be entirely remote. Your defense will take place at 3:00 p.m (Brasília time).
Viviana Bohórquez is a Biologist by the Universidad de Caldas in Colombia and a Technologist in Water and Sanitation by the Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem also in Colombia. She worked in water quality monitoring projects in rural areas under the management of Centro Nacional de Pesquisa Cafeeira da Colômbia (Intelligent Water Management).
As a master’s student in the Entomology Graduate Program at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (Brazil), developed researchs with aquatic insects at the Brazilian Invertebrate Neurobiology and Physiology Laboratory. Her dissertation addressed the impact of agricultural pollutants on non-target aquatic organisms.
