I am an undergraduate student of Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). With a strong passion for beekeeping, I have actively pursued various opportunities to expand my knowledge and make a positive impact in the field.
During my first two years at UFV, I participated in the internship program at the Central Apiary, gaining practical experience in beekeeping, meliponiculture, and entomology. I also held key positions in the Junior Company of Entomology (EJEnt), where I developed skills in project management and served as Project Manager Director and later CEO. These experiences solidified my love for beekeeping and teamwork.
Currently, as CEO of SmartBugs, my own company, I am dedicated to bringing new beekeeping technologies and eco-friendly pest management strategies to the pollinators world. Simultaneously, I am an intern at the Brazilian Invertebrate Neurobiology and Physiology Laboratory (BraIN&Phy), where I focus on non-target organisms like bees and natural enemies. This opportunity has fueled my desire to learn programming and technology to apply in my future career.
In summary, my academic journey and entrepreneurial ventures in beekeeping reflect my expertise, teamwork skills, and unyielding thirst for knowledge.
