I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Federal University of Viçosa and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Entomology at the same institution. My research is focused on the prospection of novel plant-derived insecticides, particularly essential oils, as well as the development of potential nanoformulations involving these bioactive compounds for sustainable pest management.
In addition, I am beginning studies in molecular docking to understand the mechanisms of action of these new insecticides and their potential impacts on both target and non-target insects.
